Computer Controlled - Plate Type Heat Exchanger manufacturer in india

MODAL NO: MTHT-124/CC

QTY

Present set-up is computer controlled with data logging facility. When the equipment is interfaced to computer, the end user has an access of every input and output of the setup and can log data of experiments. Plate type heat exchanger consists of frame in which independent metal plates are clamped between a head and follower. The plates are sealed at their outer edges and around the ports by gaskets, which are so arranged that the liquid and the heating/cooling media are directed alternately into passages formed between the plates. The hot fluid enters at the top on the right side of the fixed end cover and flows downwards through alternate channels between the plates.

The Hot fluid leaves the exchanger through a connection at the bottom of the fixed endcover. The cold fluid enters at the bottom of the left side of the fixed end cover. The cold fluid flows in counter current flow through alternate channels between theplates and leaves the exchanger at the top on the left side of the fixed end cover. For hot water, a recirculation type water tank is provided, fitted with heaters. A special arrangement is provided to control heat input to the heater. Cold water at constant head condition is to be provided from laboratory overhead tank by the end user. Flow rates of hot and cold water are measured using Flow sensor. A magnetic drive pump is used to circulate the hot water from recirculation type water tank. It has an interfacing unit designed by  Engineers along with Labview software. This educational software allows/enables user to log the real time experimental data and tabulate the experimental/sample reading according to the requirement of experiment. User have a control on data logging, printing the stored data and preparing spread sheets in Excel. Flexible graph plotting facility is also available in the software.

  • An ENGLISH instruction manual consisting of experimental procedures, block diagram etc. will be provided along with the Apparatus.
  • The whole set-up is well designed and arranged on a rigid structure painted with industrial PU Paint.
