• Interconnection and earthing of frames: Occurrence of fault when one enclosure is grounded, occurrence of fault through neutral when one enclosure is grounded, occurrence of fault when both the enclosures are grounded

• Working with protection relay: Tripping of protection relay, determine residual current device sensitivity, calculate maximum value of ground resistance

• Tripping a residual current device: Tripping a residual current device with one ELR and one ELCB, tripping a residual current device with one ELR and two ELCBs, measurement of fault current, tripping of higher current rating residual device, avoid tripping of all the circuit breakers in an installation

• Checking earth ground resistance: Testing with low value resistance, testing with high value resistance
