Product Specification Sheet
8085 Microprocessor Trainer (LED)
Model Number: MT-E441
The 8085 Microprocessor Trainer (LED) is a complete educational development system designed for learning 8085 microprocessor programming, interfacing, and hardware applications. Manufactured by Micro Technologies, it combines onboard memory, keyboard, LED display, timer/counter, serial communication, and debugging features in a compact training platform.
Product Specification
The 8085 Microprocessor Trainer (LED) is a comprehensive laboratory development system designed to provide practical knowledge of 8085 microprocessor architecture, programming, and interfacing. Manufactured by Micro Technologies, the trainer enables students to understand the fundamentals of microprocessor operation through hands-on experiments and application development.
The trainer is based on the 8085 microprocessor operating at 6.144 MHz and incorporates a powerful monitor program stored in EPROM for program development and debugging. It is suitable for engineering colleges, universities, polytechnic institutes, technical training centres, and electronics laboratories.
The system includes 32 KB EPROM with a monitor program and 8 KB RAM backed by a battery to preserve user programs. Memory can be expanded up to 56 KB using the onboard memory expansion facility.
A three-channel programmable timer/counter (8253) is provided for timing and counting applications, while 24 programmable input/output lines are available through the 8255 Programmable Peripheral Interface. An onboard RS232 interface supports serial communication experiments.
The trainer provides multiple operating modes including Hex Keypad Mode, Serial Mode, and Monitor Mode. User interaction is simplified through a 24-key hexadecimal keyboard and six-digit seven-segment LED display driven by the 8279 Keyboard/Display Controller.
The monitor software supports advanced debugging commands including single-step execution, breakpoints, full command execution, memory examination, register examination, uploading and downloading programs to and from a PC, making the trainer ideal for practical learning.
The front panel is manufactured using a high-quality glass epoxy SMOBC PCB with clearly printed circuit layouts and symbols. The trainer features a fully documented operating manual, built-in DC power supply, and compact ABS enclosure for reliable long-term laboratory use.
