The 8085 Microprocessor Trainer (LED) is a comprehensive laboratory development system designed to provide practical knowledge of 8085 microprocessor architecture, programming, and interfacing. A three-channel programmable timer/counter (8253) is provided for timing and counting applications, while 24 programmable input/output lines are available through the 8255 Programmable Peripheral Interface. An onboard RS232 interface supports serial communication experiments.

The trainer provides multiple operating modes including Hex Keypad Mode, Serial Mode, and Monitor Mode. User interaction is simplified through a 24-key hexadecimal keyboard and six-digit seven-segment LED display driven by the 8279 Keyboard/Display Controller.

The monitor software supports advanced debugging commands including single-step execution, breakpoints, full command execution, memory examination, register examination, uploading and downloading programs to and from a PC, making the trainer ideal for practical learning.

The front panel is manufactured using a high-quality glass epoxy SMOBC PCB with clearly printed circuit layouts and symbols. The trainer features a fully documented operating manual, built-in DC power supply, and compact ABS enclosure for reliable long-term laboratory use.
