Product Specification

The Laboratory Fume Hood (Stainless Steel & Mild Steel) (MT-114 Series) is engineered to provide a safe and controlled working environment for laboratory personnel handling hazardous chemicals, corrosive substances, acids, alkalis, solvents, and volatile compounds. Manufactured by Micro Technologies, the hood effectively captures and exhausts toxic vapors before they enter the laboratory environment, protecting both personnel and sensitive laboratory equipment.

Available in SS304 stainless steel or powder-coated mild steel construction, the MT-114 Series offers exceptional durability, corrosion resistance, and long service life. The interior chamber is finished with a smooth epoxy-coated surface to withstand continuous exposure to aggressive laboratory chemicals while allowing quick and easy cleaning.

The hood is equipped with a counter-balanced vertically sliding front sash that provides convenient access to the work area while helping maintain safe airflow during operation. A chemical-resistant worktop is supplied as standard, ensuring excellent resistance against acids, alkalis, and laboratory reagents. An integrated sink with water inlet and outlet connections enables washing and disposal operations directly inside the hood.

Efficient air extraction is achieved through a powerful exhaust system that continuously removes hazardous fumes from the working chamber. For installations requiring long exhaust ducting, an optional high-capacity centrifugal exhaust blower can be supplied to maintain optimum airflow performance.

The control panel is ergonomically positioned on the front fascia and incorporates switches for lighting and exhaust operation. Bright fluorescent or LED illumination provides excellent visibility inside the chamber, while integrated utility sockets simplify the operation of laboratory instruments. Remote-controlled service valves for gas, water, air, vacuum, and nitrogen can also be installed according to laboratory requirements.

The MT-114 Series is widely used in pharmaceutical laboratories, chemical laboratories, biotechnology facilities, research institutes, educational institutions, petrochemical industries, environmental testing laboratories, hospitals, forensic laboratories, and industrial quality control departments.

Manufactured by Micro Technologies, every Laboratory Fume Hood is subjected to rigorous inspection for structural strength, airflow performance, electrical safety, and operational reliability before delivery.
