The heating element is easily detachable and is enclosed within a well-finished wooden protective case lined with thermal insulation felt. Electrical terminals are provided at both ends of the glass tube for easy connection to the external power supply. The calorimeter tube is connected to the inlet and outlet water system through suitable rubber tubing or rubber cork connections.
