The Archimedes’ Principle Kit from Micro Technologies is a comprehensive physics laboratory apparatus designed to provide a practical demonstration of Archimedes’ principle and buoyant force.
Rather than supplying only an individual specimen, the kit brings together the main components required for a structured laboratory investigation of displacement, upthrust and apparent loss of weight.
The set includes a Spring Balance with a capacity of 250 g, allowing suitable specimens to be suspended and their apparent weight to be investigated during the experiment.
An aluminium block with hook and a brass block with hook are supplied as metallic test specimens. Their hooks allow convenient attachment to the Spring Balance.
